Turn Hunger into Hope
The Problem:
Al least 6,200 children die from hunger-related causes each day. Many more are missing school to search or work for food.
How we can Fight Hunger:
Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a charity that has set up a program for ordinary people to have a hands on experience that makes a real impact in the fight against hunger. As we organize an event to host them, they will mobilize everything needed for 500+ local volunteers here in Puyallup to pack over 100,000 meals.
Volunteers are not required to donate, but every dollar has a big impact. Everything from the ingredients to the final delivery is included for only 29 cents per meal. It only takes $106 to feed a child for a year,
and turn their hunger into hope.

How are my efforts
multiplied?

About Feed My Starving Children
Feeding kids. Feeding spirits. Empowering communities. Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) believes hope starts with food. As a Christian nonprofit, FMSC is dedicated to seeing every child whole in body and spirit.
FMSC meals are hand packed by volunteers and sent to an incredible network of partner organizations that stay with communities for the long haul, empowering them to move from relief to development.
In the 2023/24 fiscal year, FMSC provided over 448 million meals. These meals were distributed to 75 partner organizations in 64 countries, feeding 1,227,478 children a daily meal for a year. More than 88 percent of total donations go directly to feed kids.
Impact Snapshot 2024-25

Since our first introduction to Feed My Starving Children we have had the growing feeling that we needed to bring this inspiring experience home to Puyallup.
Each interaction strengthened that resolve, but we didn’t take action until my highschool senior got so sick that he had to drop out of all his classes. After being bedridden for 6 months with worsening symptoms, he became determined to set in motion this project that could bring relief to thousands of other youth whose lives were likewise on hold due to food-related pain.
It is a journey of restoring hope on both the giving and receiving ends. We hope you will join us in bringing it home.
