Can children participate at the mobile pack event?
FMSC volunteers must be at least five years old, and we recommend that groups of youth be third grade and older.
Necessary student-to-adult ratio
Kindergarten through second grade | One student to one adult
Third through sixth grade | Three students to one adult
Seventh through ninth grade | Four students to one adult
10th-12th grade | Five students to one adult
Is there an alternate job for volunteers at the event who aren't comfortable standing to pack?
Yes, there will also be boxes to construct and label at a seated station. There will also be shorter volunteer options for setup/clean up.
Are my donations tax deductible?
Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization (501c3) and donations to our mobile pack will be received directly by them and reserved for our event. Please consult your tax accountant to learn more about deducting charitable donations.
